JOB MISSION: 

The senior allocator will be responsible for leading a team of allocators to manage our assortment and inventory within our expanding store presence in both our inline and outlet channels. Monitoring stock levels, identifying trends and opportunities withing our assortments through detailed analysis of retail KPI's and leading initiatives to drive and sustain growth, increase sales and hit sell-thru expectations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient inventory management and ensuring customer satisfaction with effective decision making 

Cross-functional collaboration is vital in this role as well as managerial prowess and motivating teams to achieve and build capabilities. 

 

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and optimize inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring the right products are available when and where needed in a timely manner. 

  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and inventory turnover to make informed allocation decisions. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with planning, merchandising, retail and logistics teams to align inventory needs and ensure smooth operations. 

  • Forecasting: Use historical data and market insights to forecast demand and adjust allocations and assortments accordingly. 

  • Reporting: Prepare reports on inventory performance and allocation strategies, presenting findings to senior management. 

  • System Management: Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels effectively. 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

 

  • Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights. 

  • Precision in managing inventory to avoid stockouts or excess. 

  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments. 

  • Familiarity with inventory management software and tools. 

  • Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly. 

  • Leading and motivating others.
