Job description

The mission if you choose to accept it
At Nory, we’re building the future of hospitality, and the data we gather plays a key role in driving our decisions and shaping our strategies. We’re looking for a Business Operations Lead to join our growing team and be a vital part of this journey. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you’ll be responsible for both delivering insights from key data across the business and ensuring our go-to-market (GTM) teams have the tools they need to excel. If you love turning data into actionable insights and enabling teams with cutting-edge tools, we want to hear from you.
Your profile
You have a background in investment banking, management consulting, or financial analysis, ideally with a couple of years of start-up experience. You’re skilled in dissecting complex datasets and translating them into clear, actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. On top of that, you understand the needs of go-to-market teams, and you know how to enable them with the right tools and processes to succeed.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. You'll work closely with leaders across Nory, turning data into growth and efficiency at every level.
Your key responsibilities
  • Data analysis and insights:
    • Analyse data across finance, GTM, and product to provide actionable insights that support key decision-making.
    • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand their data needs and build out scalable reporting systems.
    • Own business intelligence and financial data modelling efforts, ensuring the company has a clear understanding of key trends and opportunities.
  • Tool enablement for GTM teams:
    • Work closely with our sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure they have the right tools and data to operate effectively.
    • Lead the evaluation and implementation of sales and marketing tools, ensuring they are integrated with company systems and drive operational efficiency.
    • Enable teams with the reporting and analytics they need to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
The person who will thrive in this role will…
  • Have a background in investment banking, management consulting, financial analysis, or a similar field.
  • Be experienced in turning data into actionable insights, with strong skills in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Have 2+ years of experience working in a start-up environment or fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Be familiar with GTM processes and tools, understanding how to enable sales and marketing teams with the right tech stack.
  • Have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Have a high degree of ownership and be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Why us?
We’re a small, ambitious team with big goals. At Nory, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, taking ownership of projects that directly influence our growth and success. If you’re someone who loves to get stuck in, work cross-functionally, and deliver real value through data and operations, you’ll thrive here.
On top of a competitive salary, here’s what else we offer:
  • Stock options: Share in our success as we scale.
  • Flexible working culture: Work from wherever you’re most productive.
  • 35 days holiday (including Bank Holidays): Recharge and reset.
  • Annual personal development budget: We support your growth as much as you support ours.
  • Pension and private health insurance: Your wellbeing matters to us.
  • Team events and get-togethers: We’re building more than a company—we’re building a community.
