How You’ll Make a Difference
You will be responsible for managing the department budget and forecasting and reporting. Managing a team of subject matter experts responsible for development of exam content. Collaborating cross-functionally and then clearly communicating with stakeholders regarding budget plans and actuals, with vendors and with finance teams.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Bachelors in business, project management, or related area required or equivalent. MBA or master’s degree strongly preferred.
- PMP Certification desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manager role; experience in global organization beneficial.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, including success in identifying relevant concepts and approaches to meet organization needs, while also being able to develop and execute detailed plans, collect, and interpret large quantities of information, and prepare concise summaries of key findings.
- Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
- Strong relationship management skills, including demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers, and external organizations with a track record of positive long-term outcome-based relationships. Effective meeting facilitation.
- Ability to successfully negotiate agreements for services or relationships that benefit or align with an organization’s objectives.
- Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects, teams, and individuals with a proactive and adaptive mindset including working in an agile dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate toward outcomes that benefit the host organization
- Up to 15% travel
