This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR and Finance Executive to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration, while also managing financial functions such as budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts reconciliation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and multitasking skills, who can effectively collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth HR and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Administer and monitor employee benefits, compensation packages, and payroll.
  • Handle employee relations and provide HR support across departments, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance management reviews and support employee development initiatives.
  • Manage HR compliance, including labor laws, employment contracts, and personnel records.
  • Support the development of company culture and engagement programs.
  • Ensure accurate HR reporting and maintain employee databases.
Finance Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.
  • Support external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to improve financial processes and systems to support the company’s growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR and finance roles, ideally in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in HR and finance management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto, BambooHR, etc.).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
