About the job

As a Partner Alliance Manager at Twilio, you will be responsible for establishing, managing and nurturing relationships with our strategic consulting, resell ISV and technology partners. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of the Twilio business through our partner ecosystem - driving strategic partner relationships and engagements. The primary focus will be on driving revenue through existing partnerships with a focus on Twilios core API use cases and driving partner engagement around these solutions. The Twilio Partner team are experts in the cloud communications space and act as key members of our go-to-market teams in developing and optimizing business critical partner and customer engagements across our top use cases. This role is highly cross functional, with deep integration with our go-to-market sales and services teams, finance, solution engineering, product management, and marketing teams. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Identify, recruit, and develop strategic partners that align with our target markets and objectives 
  • Focus on optimizing our resell, consulting, ISV and technology partner motions to contribute to company goals and objectives. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to cultivate and strengthen relationships with key partners, driving alignment with Twilio’s product and go-to-market goals. 
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities that drive revenue for both Twilio and our partners 
  • Forecast and track channel revenue and pipeline, monitoring partners progress towards goals 
  • Act as the voice of the partner and work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product, and support 
  • Provide guidance and resources to partners, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training and support to effectively promote and sell Twilio Flex and Twilio’s core product suite. 
  • Address partner concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a productive and symbiotic relationship
  • Develop and execute channel marketing programs, collaborating with marketing and parents on campaigns and pipe generating initiatives
  • Attend and participate in industry events, building brand awareness and relationships at industry events and conferences

Required:

  • 12+ years of experience in channel and partner management
  • Deep understanding of the cloud communications or SaaS industry 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing partner relationships, especially with SIs
  • Ability to create analytical account development strategies, using data to find opportunities and prove value 
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans that drive business results 
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to foster partnerships at various levels within the organization 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
     
Location

This role will be remote, and based in Sydney Australia

Travel
