Job description

This is a remote position.

20 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 10am-3pm with 1 hour unpaid break

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to handle community management, content creation, and platform maintenance for multiple social media accounts. This role is crucial for developing and executing engagement strategies, tracking performance, and growing our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of social media trends and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Management & Engagement:

    • Oversee and manage 11 social media accounts, responding to messages, comments, and reposting stories on Facebook and Instagram.
    • Proactively engage with followers, influencers, and related companies to increase social interaction.
    • Manage company profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Content Creation & Scheduling:

    • Draft and upload content calendars using Agorapulse.
    • Create and edit engaging, on-brand social media content, including short videos for platforms like Reels and TikTok.
    • Develop and maintain a consistent social and email engagement program.
    • Schedule posts across all social media accounts and maintain an organized content calendar.

  • Hashtag Strategy & Growth:

    • Create effective hashtag strategies to increase content visibility and engagement.
    • Brainstorm creative and innovative strategies for growing social media audiences.

  • Event Coordination:

    • Assist with social media engagement strategies for trade shows and other events.

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:

    • Update Bi-Weekly Marketing Performance Reports for 4 accounts and Monthly Reports for 7 accounts.
    • Track and report results of social media campaigns and recommend improvements based on performance data.

  • Translations & Documentation:

    • Create and manage translation documents for emails and other communications.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Agorapulse).
  • Strong knowledge of content creation, video editing for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for brainstorming new strategies to grow social audiences.
  • Experience coordinating social media engagement at events and trade shows.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
