Job description

Our client is an Australian company providing trusted medication management services to elevate healthcare safety and clinical outcomes.

They are now looking for a Bookkeeper to support their finance team by managing accounts, processing payments, and ensuring smooth month-end reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable: Process invoices, set up payments, and handle employee expenses.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable: Handle pending claims, provide weekly claim forecasts, and manage fees.
  • Perform reconciliations and month-end processing: Finalize payroll, invoices, and claims.
  • Maintain and update QUM (Quality Use of Medicines) master lists and support contract renewals.
  • Assist the business development team with contract renewals and updates.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Bookkeeping or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Xero.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working across multiple companies or within the health/aged care industry is a plus.
