Are you ready to take on a role as part of our Integrations Team in driving the design and development of digital solutions?

Then join Hempel’s Digital Integrations Team in Mumbai, India to bridge the gap between technology and business objectives, ensuring that digital initiatives align with organizational goals and deliver value.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum process for both our internal and external teams, ensuring that agile practices are effectively implemented to deliver high-quality digital products. The role involves guiding the team through the Scrum framework, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and team morale.

The main tasks you can look forward to being involved in are:

  • Coach and mentor the team on Agile practices, fostering continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Assist the Integration Team in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring that it is prioritized and clearly defined.
  • Encourage collaboration and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Identify and remove obstacles or external distractions that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring a focused and productive working environment.
  • Monitor and report on the team's progress, velocity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Cultivate a positive and productive team culture by addressing any team dynamics issues and promoting a growth mindset.

The main requirements for the role have/are:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a digital or software development environment, with a minimum of five years’ experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and digital product development processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivery planning and forecasting to improve team predictability and efficiency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an international environment with teams and stakeholders in multiple locations and time zones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of business processes.
  • Experience with product development tools like ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and Power BI, and strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise for efficient software delivery.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and in writing.
