Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, and automation. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and enhance scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Argo CD.
Manage version control processes, including branching, merging, and tagging using Git and GitHub.
Automate software build, testing, and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the build and deployment process.
Deploy, scale, and maintain applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for resource provisioning.
Configure and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible for automated deployment.
Ensure the security and stability of the system using tools like SonarQube, Trivy, and Synk.
Set up monitoring and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
Maintain high system availability and reliability through effective backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
Provide leadership and support to the DevOps team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Operating Systems: Proficiency in Ubuntu.
Automation & CI/CD: Expertise in Jenkins, Argo CD.
Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (including Kubeadm, KOPS, Kubernetes Volumes).
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in Terraform.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git.
Scripting & Automation: Python, Shell scripting.
Security Tools: Experience with SonarQube, Trivy, and Synk.
Networking Tools: Familiarity with Nginx.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in automating database backup and restoration using AWS RDS, Lambda, S3, and ECR.
Familiarity with building health monitoring systems using Python and Docker.
Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes across various environments.
