Job description

In this role, you'll be the friendly voice of our company, guiding our customers through the sales order management lifecycle with a commitment to excellence. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' needs are met and exceeded!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and emails from customers and sales representatives, providing information about estimated time of arrival (ETA), order tracking, and addressing any inquiries.
  • Process orders efficiently, including new orders, cancellations, or modifications, while ensuring excellent record-keeping.
  • Manage back orders by coordinating with the operations team to find suitable resolutions for out-of-stock items.
  • Investigate shipment issues, including short shipments and damages, and work towards swift resolutions.
  • Keep our customers informed about order status and ensure their experience is as seamless as possible.
  • Collaborate with various teams to maintain and elevate our customer service standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer service role, ideally within the CPG industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for order management; experience with Netsuite is a plus!
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data analysis.
  • A knack for thriving in reactive, fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed.
