Resource Innovations is seeking a talented, strategy-driven Sr. Art Director in the Mid-West to join a rapidly growing, mission-driven organization where your creativity will help drive real change. As part of our expanding team, you'll help build an internal agency that delivers world-class strategic and creative solutions, driving impactful, equitable energy initiatives for both our brand and our clients.
As our Sr. Art Director, you’ll partner with RI’s Creative Director, Copywriters, and cross-functional team members to ensure excellence in our creative deliverables for internal and external clients across various mediums, including print and digital platforms. You must be a self-starter, capable of managing a variety of projects simultaneously. Deliverables include internal brand development, brand guides, digital campaigns, animation, and illustration.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the Creative Director to develop and maintain the RI brand and brand standard documentation
- Manage the development/art direction of creative content for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, print materials while prioritizing best in class visual design.
- Oversee creative design work from concept to final delivery.
- Maintain a self-motivated approach with a consistently positive attitude.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in art, design, and animation, infusing fresh and innovative approaches into the brand’s visual elements.
- Efficiently manage and deliver multiple projects on schedule.
- Foster collaboration with internal marketing teams, clients, project managers and senior leadership, to ensure a unified, inspiring, and impactful creative deliverables
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback on our work and our processes to ensure the project aligns with the creative brief.
Requirements
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Midwest
- 5-7 years of agency experience, leading creative projects across print and digital platforms
- Comfortable in both print and digital design
- Up to date creative portfolio showcasing visual design examples in both print and digital mediums
- BFA or equivalent design work experience
- Previous experience working with creative teams in an agency environment.
- Demonstrated capability to establish and uphold a brand-centric visual identity across various channels
- Best in class visual design skills encompassing advanced concept development and meticulous attention to detail in digital and print design.
- Expert knowledge of design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and an understanding of emerging design technologies and trends
- Proven track record as a collaborative team player in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
