Job description

Direct Hire Position
Position: Project Manager (Remote)
Salary: $115k – $140k/year based on experience 
Location: Remote (may require some travel)

The Project Manager is responsible for the proactive and successful leadership of each of their project teams. They will provide direction to all project stakeholders, including the owner, design team, consultants, office staff, and field staff, to ensure contract requirements are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client satisfaction and act as the main contact for clients, teams, and subcontractors.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, quality control, and safety for each project.
  • Track progress, update schedules, and communicate job status with all parties.
  • Review and resolve project document conflicts, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Handle change orders, budget updates, and monthly pay applications.
  • Conduct and document project meetings, including client and internal team progress.
  • Visit job sites to ensure compliance with schedule, quality, and safety.
  • Assist with pricing, schedules, and subcontractor solicitation.
  • Review documents and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop project schedules and manage scope buyout.
  • Oversee project closeout documentation, warranty management, and final budget updates.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience as a project manager, including medical facilities valued at $1M+.
  • Experience with Federal clients (VA, USACE, Air Force) is a plus.
