Here's what you can expect as a Manager, Clinical Operations at DaVita:

This role supports and oversees a team of Authorization Coordinators, on our broader Clinical Pharmacy Management Team!

[ LOCATION: REMOTE ]

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of hourly teammates who are responsible for obtaining, reviewing and organizing information, for our broader Clinical Pharmacy Management team
  • Ensure teammates meet objectives in a timely manner, while measuring success, identifying trends and continuously improving processes and systems
  • Organize, monitor, evaluate, and manage workflow
  • Provide leadership consistent with DaVita values, while developing teammates and a positive culture
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to take complex issues, develop detailed plans, and coordinate execution
  • Communicate metrics and align teammate performance with success
  • Weekly teammate 1:1
  • Identify new areas of opportunity to implement new clinical and risk adjustment initiatives
  • Address teammate relations issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Manage all teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required
  • Serves as a subject matter expert as needed for teammates with a solid understanding of medical records policies, practices, and regulations related to the team’s business and technical processes
  • Understands regulatory guidelines and operates within the guidelines to mitigate risk to the business

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Prior experience leading a team
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a team in following areas in a healthcare setting:
    • Pharmacy experience preferred
    • Experience with training, developing and leading/coaching a team of 10+
    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
    • Proven ability to develop and foster a positive, fulfilling work environment
    • Experience working in highly matrixed organization
    • Ability to work within a fast-moving work environment
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Salary/ Wage Range

$68,400.00 - $100,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
