The Enterprise Customer Success Systems Engineer plays an important role in Veeam’s customer success and retention efforts. This candidate will work remotely with our customers, as a post-sales systems engineer providing technical product and best practices guidance to ensure our customers maximize the value of their Veeam purchase. The ideal candidate will be naturally collaborative, articulate, with experience across different Veeam products in a technical role and be motivated by maximizing customer success and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual customer meetings, product demonstrations and configuration health reviews
  • Guide customers with technical best practices, product how-to, product updates, and/or educating customers to maximize their product value
  • Collaborate with customers/partners and internal Veeam teams to ensure understanding and success of the customer’s technical requirements
  • Assist with the continued education and enablement of colleagues with ongoing product changes and technology advancements
  • Accurately document pertinent information found or discussed into internal notes
  • Work closely with internal Product Management to provide customer feedback and articulate feature requests
  • Travel up to 20% for internal meetings or customer meetings

 

Requirements

  • Experience with Veeam products in a technical role preferred
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, AHV, etc.
  • Industry-based experience in storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies strongly desired
  • Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks strongly desired
  • Experience in data life-cycle management strongly desired
  • Experience in customer-facing roles strongly desired
  • Knowledge of deployment of software solutions into complex environments
  • Deep level understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies/backup methodologies
  • Deep level understanding of virtualization technologies
  • VMCE/VMCA certification preferred
  • Other industry relevant professional certifications (Security+, AZ-900, LPIC-1, etc.) are desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to articulate technical concepts in writing as well as present to groups in person or remotely
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent time management skills required

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$102,500$146,400 USD
