Job Title Structured Credit Services - CLO Specialist 

Corporate Title Vice President

Location New York, NY or Santa Ana, CA

Overview The Structured Credit Services - CLO Specialist is the primary point of contact for the clients.  You must have a deep understanding of bank loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and other complex fixed income structures. You will provide oversight of day to day operational/client service activities while monitoring controls such as overdraft reports, annual reviews, and outstanding deal compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Primary point of contact for approximately 10 CLO Special Purpose Vehicles.

  • Produce monthly/quarterly investor reporting packages.  Must have intimate knowledge of all issued reports.

  • Communicate with underwriters, investment managers, rating agencies and bondholders.

  • Supervise the work of each CLO's Portfolio Accounting Analyst (internal role).

  • Leadership role within the team

  • Close interaction with DB Operations.

  • Maintain each SPV's annual compliance requirements (Accountant's Reports, Issuer's Certifications, etc.).

How You’ll Lead

  • Senior Management – Must be able to succinctly communicate with high level leaders within the organization

  • Clients – Must understand the CLO transaction and be able to interact with Investment Managers and Investors on the internal mechanics of a deal

  • Analytics/IT – Must be able to identify operational bottleneck and work together with IT/Analytics to develop and implement a solution

Skills You’ll Need

  • BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics, MBA a plus

  • Moderate experience of CLO bank loans and moderate experience managing medium-size teams

  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles

  • General understanding of structured credit products

  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles.

  • Competent in all MS Office products.

  • Advanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics

  • Experience with CLOs and/or Solvas-CDOSuite a plus

  • Fluent in English

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Santa Ana office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York is $115,00 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
