Job description

We’re looking for a highly commercial and ambitious Sales Executive to gain new partners across the DACH region, in-line with the strategic priorities of the FitFlop. You will be responsible for managing, selling and servicing the existing regional account base and capturing on further opportunities. Responsible for long-term development of the accounts within the DACH region, you’ll ensure profitable growth as well as building strong relationships with our buyers.

A flexible self-starter with experience working in wholesale within a regional based role, ideally in the footwear or apparel industry. You will have had exposure to reporting and communicating both sell-in and sell-through. You will demonstrate self-assurance, pride and passion and exude personal and professional impact. You are obsessive about customer service and are visibly energetic and enthusiastic about business improvement opportunities.

The Responsibilities:

  • To develop, manage and be accountable for the sales of the existing regional account base in line with the brand building guidelines
  • Responsible for pre-season sell-in, planning and forecasting on account level
  • Managing the in-season business and replenishment for the regional accounts
  • Providing product trainings, sales support and participate during partner events
  • Supporting the marketing team on visual merchandising and the execution of in-store events
  • Ownership of all administration as required
  • Drive service excellence and execute strategic direction within specific countries
  • To grow and control the sales of provided account base within territory and in line with the brand building guidelines.
  • Acquisition of new partners in accordance with distribution strategy
  • Execution and preparation, of the seasonal product forecasts for the account base
  • Develop the profitability of the business with all accounts, manage and collate key sales information through to the Sales Manager of DACH


Prebook & Reorder:

  • Plan, budget each account by category, vs. LY & target
  • Strategically plan and arrange all customer appointments
  • In line with each customer’s budget successfully carry out sales appointments working from dedicated showrooms during key periods
  • Ensure all orders and admin is submitted within deadlines
  • Strategically plan then carry out the sales strategy; by phone daily or in person


Customer/Account Management:

  • Build a strong professional relationships with all buyers or owners for each account
  • Strategically contact and manage your customers daily, weekly or bi monthly
  • Attain and use wisely weekly sales data
  • Plan the strategic and profitable use of marketing tools
  • Visit all accounts and doors
  • Propose new accounts or opportunities to your People Leader (Sales Manager – EMEAI North)
  • Be the first point of call for your accounts within the FIFLOP organization


Brand:

  • Be the coordinator and first point of call for your territory within FITFLOP
  • Report back to your People Leader with any requested information on your territory
  • Liaise with internal departments credit control, customer services and marketing
  • Ensure that within your territory, the brand is presented in the best possible way and always in line with the most current brand guidelines


The Person:

  • You’ll be a fantastic communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Highly numerate, and able to budget and forecast using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in related industry (footwear would of course be a benefit, but not essential)
  • Previous wholesale experience in a regionally based role is a must
  • You’ll have had exposure to reporting and communicating both sell-in and sell-through
  • Ability to perform and multi-task in a collaborative, quick paced, agile company
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to define the fashion landscape for FitFlop and an awareness of current brand adjacencies
  • You’ll be a self-starting, conscientious and able to use your initiative
  • You’ll be able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, managing stakeholder relationships as you do this
  • Look beyond the obvious and don’t stop at the first answers to ensure you’re always able to provide detailed analysis
  • Digital awareness is key
  • Action orientated and full of energy for things you see as challenging
  • Extensive travel and occasional overnight stays are expected throughout and across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK.
  • Fluent in German and English a must (French and Italian language skills are beneficial)
  • Full and valid driving license required
