Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with functional experience in Workday, specifically in Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Financial Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP applications, particularly those outside of Workday, and possess a deep understanding of integrations within the Workday ecosystem. This role is crucial for managing business requirements related to ERP integrations and ensuring successful collaboration with business partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Workday integrations.
  • Manage the backlog for the ERP team, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and refined effectively.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions for ERP projects, facilitating discussions to align team efforts with business objectives.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are translated into functional specifications.
  • Conduct functional testing of Workday integrations and other ERP applications to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Workday functionalities and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to business processes, system configurations, and integration workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an ERP environment.
  • Functional experience with Workday HCM and/or Financial Management modules.
  • Familiarity with other ERP applications outside of Workday is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing project backlogs and sprints.
  • Strong understanding of Workday integrations and data flows.
  • Proficiency in creating functional specifications and user stories.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO).
  • Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and lead discussions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing ERP integration projects from inception to completion.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and methodologies.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or relevant ERP certifications is a plus.
