Pro IS, Inc. is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic team player with operational skills and insurance knowledge to join our Underwriting Team as an Underwriting Support TechnicianThe Underwriting Support Technician will assist Underwriters and Underwriting Support Assistants with day-to-day processing tasks and provide underwriting and administrative support to Underwriters as required. This employment position is full-time and will work daytime hours remotely in the USA

Main Responsibilities

  • Working in tandem with the team to confirm policy issuance instructions for quotes, binders, policies, endorsements, notices, etc. and effectively complete coding/issuance.
  • Perform data entry and quality control checks of insurance policy information into in-house systems to agreed, defined standards of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Generate broker correspondence in electronic format (e-mail) related to transaction processing and informational follow up requests.
  • Perform ad hoc operational duties to support the Underwriting teams.

 Skills and Experience

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • At least one year of experience working in the insurance or reinsurance field.
  • Collaborative team player
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
