The Assistant will be responsible for supporting the team and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to our customers, sales representatives, and insurance companies. This individual will also assist the team in completion of service functions, and provide quality service to our clients.
What You'll Do
Establish positive working relationships with customers for account retention.
Talk to customers and gather updated information for the annual marketing of their renewal.
Handle client requests for information, endorsements, cancellations, payments and other services as required.
Assist in analyzing insurance exposures while preparing renewal reviews and account summaries.
Assist with expiration reports and updating the agency management system.
Assist in recommending coverage’s or coverage changes based upon client needs.
Be proficient in carrier sites to process endorsements and quotes.
Develop a good working knowledge of company underwriting philosophies and appetites.
Review policies, endorsements and quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data, including but not limited to: loss runs, Motor Vehicle Reports, etc.
Issuance of binders, certificates, automobile identification cards, invoices and similar items.
Obtain policy documents from carriers and attach to agency management system.
What You'll Need
4-40 or 2-20 State of Florida Insurance License preferred
Insurance industry experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, Word
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of AMS360 software is a Plus!
