Position Overview

We are in search of a bilingual (English and Spanish) professional with a background in mortgage or finance who is looking to advance their career. This role demands exceptional multitasking, communication, and adaptability skills as you engage with our members throughout the mortgage process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for mortgage applicants, guiding them from initial disclosure through to closing, following established communication protocols.
  • Collect and manage residential real estate loan documentation, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Verify file information, interest rates, and loan conditions, ensuring the integrity of member data.
  • Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Officers and other team members to facilitate efficient loan processing.
  • Track outstanding documents and fulfill loan conditions, preparing files for underwriting.
  • Communicate effectively with industry professionals, including appraisers and settlement agents.
  • Prepare accurate closing packages and calculate initial escrow deposits to meet production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, including NCUA and FFIEC.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to learning.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.

  • General knowledge of the real estate industry with a preference for prior loan processing or financial institution experience.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: A two-year college degree or equivalent experience in the finance or mortgage sector.
