Job Title: Real Estate & Business Transactional Paralegal

Job Overview

We are in search of a committed and detail-oriented Real Estate & Business Transactional Paralegal to join our esteemed legal team. This role involves providing extensive support to our attorneys in various capacities, including project management, client interaction, document preparation, and legal research. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a strong organizational aptitude and a background in real estate to excel within a collaborative and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative functions related to real estate transactions such as acquisitions, sales, exchanges, and financing/refinancing.
  • Examine, organize, and assess due diligence documentation, title commitments, surveys, and associated records, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Draft title and survey objection letters as well as organizational documents including resolutions and incumbency certificates.
  • Facilitate closing processes by finalizing documents, coordinating with transaction parties, and assembling closing binders.
  • Conduct public records research to aid in data collection and prepare organizational documentation (e.g., operating agreements, limited partnership agreements, bylaws) after entity formation.
  • Establish and maintain minute books, manage critical transaction deadlines, and ensure file organization and maintenance.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with title and survey reviews as well as closing checklists from beginning to end.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and cases concurrently while maintaining composure under pressure.
