Job Overview

As a Title Clearance Specialist, your expertise will be instrumental in the mortgage process, ensuring that titles are devoid of issues or encumbrances prior to closing. This remote position requires you to collaborate closely with title examiners, underwriters, closing coordinators, and various stakeholders to resolve any title defects and discrepancies. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be critical in facilitating seamless transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify title search reports and public records to identify discrepancies or defects.
  • Collaborate with title examiners, underwriters, and attorneys to resolve issues related to liens, judgments, or other encumbrances.
  • Effectively communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, attorneys, and lenders to gather necessary documentation for title clearance.
  • Monitor the status of title clearance and keep all parties informed with regular updates.
  • Prepare and file essential title clearance documents, ensuring compliance with legal standards and lender requirements.
  • Maintain precise and organized records of all title-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Assist in coordinating closings, ensuring that title clearance is finalized before the closing date.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving title-related issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices to foster compliance and operational efficiency.
