Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to become a vital part of our team, delivering trauma-informed care to individuals grappling with mental and emotional challenges. In this position, you will engage with patients, understand their unique concerns, diagnose mental health conditions, and craft tailored treatment plans that foster healing and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and create personalized treatment strategies.
• Provide education to patients and staff on effective methods for managing stress and trauma.
• Assist patients in reaching their personal mental health objectives through resource provision and guidance.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as required to ensure continuous support and improvement.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, social services, and community programs to link patients with additional resources.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices by pursuing continuing education and upholding your National Certified Counselor certification.
  
  

Required Skills

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with trauma patients.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
