Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all stages of audit engagements, from planning and fieldwork to reporting.
• Review audit documentation for accuracy and compliance with professional standards (GAAP, GAAS, etc.).
• Collaborate with audit staff and partners to resolve any issues encountered.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• Leverage tax knowledge to identify potential tax implications during audits.
• Work with the tax department to ensure a seamless integration of audit and tax services.
• Maintain and cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and service.
• Present audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements throughout audit engagements.
• Lead in the supervision and growth of audit team members by offering continuous training, feedback, and development opportunities.
  
  

Required Skills

• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in GAAP, GAAS, and IRS regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and tax.
• Proven track record in managing audit engagements and leading teams.
