Job Overview

Join an esteemed legal team as a Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant, where your contributions will be vital in assisting our attorneys in essential legal practices including estate planning and administration. This hybrid position offers a flexible work model, blending both in-office and remote engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of general probate procedures, encompassing document drafting, filing, and communication with clients, probate clerks, and other legal professionals.
  • Draft initial estate administration documents and support asset valuations, transfers, and redemptions.
  • Manage cash accounts and oversee asset marshaling as required.
  • Aid in the preparation of estate tax returns and formulate distribution documents.
  • Provide comprehensive support to trust and estate attorneys and paralegals throughout the trust and estate administration process.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure prompt follow-up on all responsibilities.

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience within the trusts and estates sector, particularly in probate procedures and estate administration.
  • Excellent communication abilities with a polished demeanor when engaging with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
