Job Overview

We are seeking a committed Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant to enhance our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will support our attorneys with a variety of estate administration and probate tasks, ensuring our clients receive exceptional care during critical transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general probate processes, including the drafting and filing of documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, probate clerks, and other professionals
  • Draft initial estate administration documents and aid in asset valuations, transfers, and redemptions
  • Collect and manage cash accounts while facilitating the marshaling of assets as required
  • Support the preparation of estate tax returns and draft necessary distribution documents
  • Provide comprehensive assistance to trust and estate attorneys and paralegals in all facets of estate and trust administration
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-up on all assignments

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in trusts and estates, with proficiency in probate processes and estate administration
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor for interactions with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organized and meticulous, capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
