<span 72="">JOB PURPOSE:
<span 72="">The Retail Sales Director is a senior sales position at McCain Foods US Retail. This role is responsible for leading some of our most strategic businesses and expanding our commercial relationships. The Sales Director will lead and drive the sales strategy, managing a high-performance team to achieve growth and profitability targets. This role is focused on joint business planning, consumption forecasting, new business development, trade management, broker management, and long-range planning. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that align with the company’s goals, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing the performance and development of the sales team.
<span 72="">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
<span 72="">Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
<span 72=""> Becoming the partner of choice for our customers, driving sustained category growth and profit. Drive world-class customer stewardship and account management.
<span 72=""> Elevate selling capability, provide coaching and development, building an engaged, high performing team. Strategically work with the customer to understand their needs to create win-win sales propositions.
<span 72=""> Utilize the principles of enterprise selling to develop joint customer business plans. Orchestrate strategic customer meetings which are focused on the entire value chain.
<span 72="">Deploy the full organizational resources of McCain and customer in collaborative partnerships which provide sustainable competitive advantage.

<span 72="">Demonstrate a keen understanding of how to generate and calculate ROI from customer promotions and initiatives.
<span 72="">KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
<span 72=""> Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, and Economics or equivalent). 8+ years of progressive experience in managing large retail accounts.
<span 72="">Sales strategy, Finance and/or Category management experience plus People management experience, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods industry.
<span 72="">Ability to analyze data and information into actionable strategies and business recommendation .
<span 72="">Support and guide team members across the organization. Effectively and persuasively expresses ideas and opinions.
<span 72=""> Strong time management skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple functions and levels. Demonstrated financial acumen and understanding of financial elements that impact overall profitability COGS, P&L, ROI, etc.
<span 72=""> Strong understanding of the retail environment for consumer-packaged goods Thorough grasp and forward thinking application of consumer insights.
<span 72="">Ability to anticipate and understand wants, needs, goals and strategies of key customer stakeholders (deeper penetration and understanding).
