Senior Technical Project Manager

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to provide technical project management oversight to multiple streams of work to build the foundational infrastructure and device landscape to successfully deploy healthcare delivery via modernized technology.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical project management oversight to multiple streams of work to build the foundational infrastructure and device landscape to successfully deploy the new delivery technology. This would include:

o Resources

o Budget

o Issues

o Risks

o Stakeholder Management

o Communications

o Quality

o Vendor Management

• Managing activities and initiatives for readiness and implementation.

o Understanding and translating business and technical requirements

o Engaging with resources as required

o Coordination

o Communications - Working collaboratively with other resources and stakeholders

o Organizations to support shared deliverables and goals.

• Deliverables for each initiative/activity will include:

o Project Charter

o Documenting the understanding of work to be completed between IBM, the new delivery technology, and the S4 Project Team

o Integration plan

o Integration design

o Integration prototype

o Integration testing

o Integration operational deployment

o Document that OPOR has verified working integrations with both Patient Billing and Item Master

o Project sign-off

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15+ Years managing complex medium- to large-scale information technology projects and programs

• Minimum 8 Years as senior project manager/lead

• Minimum of 10 years working with provincial public service

• Minimum education of Bachelor’s degree

• In-depth experience in business and requirements analysis

• Prior experience managing large health information system projects.

• Ability to develop a comprehensive business and technical roadmap/plan for current and future state.

• Rich experience in planning and designing cross-functional IT projects in the real world.

• Experience working within and across remote teams, inter- and intra-organizationally

• Excellent communication, relationship building, and conflict management skills across organizations with competing priorities and workstreams

• Proven track record of successful client engagements

• Proven ability to deliver on-time

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified change manager with Prosci or CCMP designation

• PMP Certified

• Preference is given to candidates with the above qualifications with experience in the Nova Scotia context
