🚀 Platform Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

Are you ready to bring your expertise in software engineering and DevOps to the forefront? Our client is looking for a Platform Engineer who is passionate about designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and leveraging their knowledge of cloud platforms to deliver innovative solutions.

Your Mission:

Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines on public cloud platforms to enable seamless software delivery and operational efficiency.
Utilize your experience in configuration management and infrastructure as code (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) to build automated, scalable infrastructure.
Ensure systems are built with security in mind, applying fundamental cloud security principles such as identity and access management and firewalls to protect customers' environments.
Advocate for DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and best practices within the team and across client engagements.
Collaborate across multiple functional and technical teams to deliver Agile-based projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Communicate effectively with clients, translating their business requirements into technical solutions to deliver the highest value.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Proven experience working with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in production environments.
Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM, Chef, or Puppet.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, firewalls, and encryption.
Strong experience in Agile environments, including work estimation, story pointing, and team collaboration.
A growth mindset, with enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills to work directly with clients, turning business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Additional Details:

Location: Anywhere in Mexico (remote work from home)
Eligibility: Only fluent English speakers and legal residents/locals can be considered (directly hired as a fulltime employee).
Contract Type: Direct hire, indefinite contract.
