Key Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Service Desk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing Tier 2 and Tier 3 help desk requests, which include:

  • User and computer account maintenance
  • Administration of Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and storage solutions
  • Implementation and support for Microsoft 365 and Office 365
  • Deployment and management of Microsoft Azure
  • Utilizing remote management and monitoring tools effectively
  • Developing scripts and automating processes
  • Ensuring robust backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Executing cybersecurity measures
  • Managing firewalls, switches, and wireless access points

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience providing support for Microsoft networks, specifically within small to mid-sized business environments
  • Strong proficiency in user and computer account maintenance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and storage
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with remote management and monitoring tools
  • Skills in scripting and process automation
  • Understanding of backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity strategies
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure components such as firewalls and wireless access points
