Job description

About Addi

We are a technology company working to transform credit and banking in Latin America starting with point of sale finance. We aim to build fair, simple and affordable financial services that empower our clients, treating them with dignity, and building financial freedom. We launched in February 2019 and have already served millions of clients and disbursed millions of dollars.

We operate as a full stack startup. We have built our core systems and processes from scratch, and we believe our technology and analytics platform will drive our progress into the years to come. We come at this with deep experience building and growing technology teams and financial products. As important as what we do is how we do it. We are a conscious company and are deeply committed to working and living our five core values - A company of owners inspiring colleagues, we pull rabbits out of hats, we care and we trust, act with integrity, win today every day, and scale exponentially.

We are backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Monashees, Village Global, and an outstanding team of individual angels, including Kevin Ryan, Josh Abramowitz, and Scott Weiss.

Mission

The Product Manager for the identity and communications platform will lead the development of the identity verification process within Addi's origination flow. This includes implementing fraud prevention measures for new and returning clients, ensuring strong identity validation throughout the customer lifecycle.

You'll also scale the communications platform to support B2C and B2B operations, aligning with the company’s growth strategy while reinforcing fraud prevention efforts.

Additionally, you'll ensure the platform supports transaction monitoring, AML compliance, and prepares Addi for regulatory requirements as it moves towards becoming a financing company in Colombia.

Another key responsibility is creating efficient processes for originations and credit pre-approvals within the Addi app, while ensuring customer data management aligns with business needs and regulations.

What you will do

  • Increase IDV conversion in the origination journey driving growth for the company

    • Analyze user behavior and IDV metrics: Deeply understand user interactions and IDV data to identify key acquisition drivers and potential bottlenecks in the verification process.

    • Collaborate with analytics and research teams: Work closely with data analysts and researchers to gain insights into the factors influencing KPIs, enabling data-driven decision-making.

    • Optimize product features and functionalities: Continuously refine the IDV process by improving existing features and adding new functionalities that build user trust and streamline verification.

    • Lead A/B testing and usability studies: Drive A/B testing initiatives and usability testing to increase the success rate of photo collection, improving the overall IDV conversion rate

  • Deliver an intuitive app experience that seamlessly supports the coexistence of multiple products and initiatives, enabling users to provide identity proof.

    • Standardize processes: Ensure smooth and unified identity verification across all customer interactions.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with engineering, design, and compliance to align identity solutions with business and user needs.

    • Track and improve metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like verification success and adjust based on insights.

    • Optimize user experience: Refine identity flows to enhance ease of use while maintaining strong security.

    • Ensure scalability: Implement solutions that support growth in both B2C and B2B contexts without compromising security.

  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap for the identity and comms platform

    • Set product vision: Define and align the roadmap with business goals and customer needs.

    • Prioritize features: Evaluate and prioritize features that enhance security, user experience, and scalability.

    • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
