Sustainable Procurement Consultant (Remote)

Full time, Costa Rica

Coordinate, manage, and deliver BCD Travels's global procurement sustainability program based on relevant legislation and reporting requirements. As part of the sustainable procurement strategy, you will work with colleagues within the sustainability team and global strategic sourcing and procurement team to define and recommend procurement sustainability initiatives in alignment with our Blueprint for Success. You will also manage the sustainable procurement 3rd party platform and procurement due diligence process for identifying companies and sustainable assessments, including identifying key contacts for companies and conducting a necessary follow-up on assessment results.

As a Sustainable Procurement Consultant, you will

• Act as subject matter expert on sustainable procurement matters to ensure sustainable procurement requirements are included in supplier RFPs
• Support internal finance teams to establish, track, and report diverse supplier spend
• Provide annual reports on Supply Chain Due Diligence activities and outcomes to sustainable team for reporting purposes
  
  

About You

• Proven experience as the sustainability lead within a procurement department where you developed a sustainable procurement strategy for a complex organization
• Knowledge of sustainable due diligence and supplier diversity legislation and requirements in key global markets, specifically experience with Scope 3 calculations for purchased goods and services
• Good written and spoken English skills
