Our Energetic Team:
Energy Vault Solutions, a division within Energy Vault, is dedicated to delivering customer-focused energy storage products that merge Battery and Clean Hydrogen technologies. The Energy Vault Solutions team also develops and manages our AI/ML powered software applications that include EMS, Lifecycle Management, and Energy Trading Platforms.
Your Impact as a BESS Compliance Engineer:
As a BESS Compliance Engineer, you will work with our product design team to ensure that Energy Vault’s BESS products meet the latest standards for safety and performance. You will be the main point of contact for compliance queries both internally and externally. You will also travel to our manufacturing and certification facilities in China to oversee product testing, such as FATs and certification tests.
Your Mission: Review and understand the latest BESS standards for safety and performanceManage our third party consultants for compliance reviews and bankability reportsAdvise the product design team on compliance requirements during the design phaseReview design documentation and compile internal compliance reports to confirm complianceCollaborate with the design team to continually improve our product designTravel to our manufacturing facilities in China to inspect prototype products to verify complianceTravel to our certification facility in China to oversee certification tests to ensure the agency accurately follows the standards requiredKeep up to date on the latest developments in BESS safety and performance to ensure Energy Vault products are state-of-the-artYour Background: Electrical engineering degreeMinimum 5 years of experience in the BESS industryDetailed knowledge and experience with design standards for BESS products and projectsExperience in utility scale BESS product design and deliveryWillingness to travel internationally, up to 50% of the time during periods of certification and testing.Chinese language skills are a strong advantage for this role.
