Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of project budgets and schedules to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Provide financial support for multiple contracts throughout their lifecycle, with a focus on compliance, forecasting, invoicing, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with governmental agencies to address and resolve financial compliance issues, ensuring the accurate application of contract requirements.
  • Monitor financial accounts to guarantee the correct representation of labor hours, costs associated with subcontractors, and various direct costs.
  • Track project expenditures against established plans and inform management of any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and deliver Monthly Project Financial Reports, ensuring precision in financial data.
  • Engage in project baseline planning, cost verification, variance analysis, and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in business development pricing and the preparation of cost proposals.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in project financial operations including budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Experience with Unanet Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Familiarity with various contract structures, such as Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus Fixed Fee.
  • Knowledge of contract compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of general accounting and financial support experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program financial support.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
