The Digital Experience Team impacts the global growth of HubSpot’s core products by developing digital experiences crafting user-centered solutions that enhance the customer journey. This is a highly visible team making a significant impact as your work will impact millions of users worldwide. This team collaborates closely with partners in Marketing, creative and other areas of the business. Our UX Design Team covers a broad spectrum of practice areas including user research, interaction design, information architecture, and UI design. Our team mission is to create Meaningful, Usable, Enjoyable, and Accessible experiences with people at heart that support our HubSpot digital ecosystem. Our design team is growing and we are looking for an ambitious designer to join our creative community! 

About the Role

As a UX Manager, you will lead and nurture a high-performing, diverse UX team, fostering their growth and development. You'll drive strategic leadership, contributing to the vision and execution of cross-platform experiences that support our marketing priorities and align with the company's long-term goals. 

Working closely with marketers, strategists, and project managers, you'll understand and influence both long-term and short-term business objectives, generating a significant impact within the Marketing team.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Coach and develop team members, helping them achieve their career goals
  • Translate long-term vision into actionable team goals and priorities
  • Oversee project lifecycles, manage timelines, and resources, and mitigate risks
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and generate influence with Senior Management
  • Evaluate and approve research to ensure alignment with project goals and user needs
  • Maintain cross-project visibility and collaboration within the department
  • Advocate for brand values, design consistency, and inclusive design
  • Contribute to team infrastructure improvements (processes, templates, training)
  • Drive innovation and challenge the status quo in UX design approaches

We are looking for people who:

  • Has 8+ years of experience in Design and User Experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Are passionate about empowering both customers and team members to grow and succeed.
  • Keen to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and executives.
  • Enthusiastic in driving innovation and adapting strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Are comfortable using data and user research to inform design decisions and demonstrate the value of UX to the organization.
  • Motivated to foster a culture of continuous improvement through constructive feedback and professional development initiatives.
  • Find value and growth opportunities in receiving and providing both affirming and constructive feedback.
  • Are comfortable articulating design decisions and asking tough questions to help surface and challenge assumptions.
  • Possesses experience across various industries, particularly in tech, agency, and consultancy
