This role involves managing the performance of suppliers and service providers, establishing, and maintaining governance frameworks, reviewing assurance findings to ensure adherence to standards and regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance and reliability of the supply chain.

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Manage the performance of suppliers and service providers within the motor supply chain to ensure high standards of service delivery and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks to monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers and service providers.
  • Review assurance findings and ensure adherence to standards and regulations, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance and reliability of the motor supply chain.
  • Identify and manage risks within the supply chain, implementing strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.

 

Important to your success:

  • Strategic leadership experience in supplier management, supply chain operations, or related field.
  • Proven track record of driving performance improvement and cost optimization within a supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to motor supply chain operations. (Trade qualified)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Experience in a claims assessment / management role for a complex, matrixed general insurance organization.
