Job description

JD Studios: Who We Are

JD Studios is a team of creative, collaborative social media and content wizards, led by Julius Dein—an innovative entrepreneur, renowned magician, and prominent online personality with a global audience of 70+ million. As JD Studios continues to expand its brand and business ventures, we’re looking for a driven and passionate Content Manager to join the team.

The Role: Content Manager

If you live and breathe social video production and have a natural eye for aesthetic details, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re not looking for years of conventional film industry experience. We want someone who’s passionate about creating viral social media content, can think on their feet and problem solve, and ready to grow with us—someone who knows their way around a camera, understands what makes a killer shot, and most importantly, is wicked smart and has what it takes to truly take ownership from A-Z!

What you’ll do:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring that all content is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Support the creative lead in searching and securing locations, liaising with studios, and organizing accommodations for the team.
  • Create call sheets, production schedules, and ensure all logistics are in place.
  • Contact and liaise with interview guests, actors/actresses, content creators, and agencies to coordinate availability and contracts.

Set Management:

  • Set up and manage the production set, ensuring all video and audio recording equipment is in place and fully functional.
  • Ensure the environment meets creative and technical requirements, such as lighting, sound, and aesthetics, for a high-quality shoot.

Content Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain a strong focus on ensuring content aligns with brand standards and is engaging and tailored to the audience.
  • Archive all raw content and maintain an organized system for the post-production team.

Post-Production Oversight:

  • Work closely with editors and post-production teams, providing briefs and feedback to ensure the final content meets quality and engagement objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the content team and post-production to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Help the Content Lead direct the on-set team during productions, ensuring everyone is working towards the shared creative vision and objectives.
  • Be a team player while also helping the content lead manage the crew, providing clear instructions and support throughout the production process.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Attention to Detail & Creativity:

Strong eye for detail and a creative mind to ensure all content is engaging and meets both brand and quality standards.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and efficient in delivering results.

Communication & Negotiation Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with external parties.

Leadership:

Confident presence with the ability to direct a set and manage a team effectively, ensuring smooth execution of creative visions.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

Decisive and quick-thinking in the face of production challenges, with a proven ability to troubleshoot on the fly.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in content management, production coordination, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of the production process, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Proficiency in working with production schedules, call sheets, and managing equipment logistics is a plus.
  • Experience working with external partners such as agencies, content creators, and talent.
  • Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Why JD Studios? We’re a fully remote, global team spanning 15 countries. We believe in creating a space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, grow, and take ownership of their role. If you want to be part of a creative, fast-paced environment where your ideas matter, this is the place for you.
