Summary:

The Power BI Developer and Analyst will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining our business, crafting and executing queries upon request for data, and presenting information through reports and visualizations. 

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for the development and administration of BI tools and their main duty is to transform raw data into meaningful insights. This will be accomplished through interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Partner with business leaders and SMEs to understand reporting and analytics needs for the business. 
• Gather, document, and analyze business reporting requirements. 
• Support internal and external customer data needs. 
• Analyze and clean data through the use of data cleansing Power BI tools and best practices. 
• Develop compelling data visualizations that tell the business story with data.
• Utilize Power BI to extract, clean, transform, report, and publish business data.
• Additional duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years' experience with Business Intelligence Analytics and Reporting. 
• 3+ years of Power BI experience. 
• 4+ years of experience with SQL.
• 1+ year experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing data and turning them into meaningful insights. 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Experience developing and supporting custom BI reports and dashboards. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT or equivalent work experience / certifications.
