Location: 100% Remote

Looking for an experienced (3-5 years ideally) Power BI Developer who has experience creating executive level dashboards, who can work independently with minimal direction, who can bring their insights and suggestions to us, and who is creative with visualization.
Industry doesn't matter...
Bachelor's degree is not required..
This assignment is anticipated for 3 mos. to start - anticipating a 1 year assignment in total for this role. They need someone who is very creative from a visual perspective. The right candidate will have strong prior experience working on executive level dashboards and will be someone who can hit the ground running with ideas and help them create their landing page.

Power BI resource requirements
• Power BI resource to work closely with our IT and business teams to create executive level dashboards.
• Partner with IT and business leads on defining dashboard requirements
o Work with the business owner to understand functional requirements and key measures
o Review existing dashboards, provide recommendations on consolidating, ensure alignment across the LT
o Develop and execute roadmap for dashboard development
• Document and analyze requirements from the business leads, Meals & Beverage IT partners, and Data & Analytics team. They would have enough knowledge of how Power BI works to provide insights and best practices on how to unlock value in the system. Some examples:
o Use Power BI to effectively display key performance measures
o Create a dashboard where users can drill deeper into the data as per their role
o Proactively provide recommendations on Power BI UX features that better illustrate a KPI
o Share knowledge on advanced Power BI features that would benefit the user experience
• Provide creative input into look/feel of dashboards. Create a professional executive level dashboard visualization.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deliver Power BI dashboards
• Support continued build-out of key reports and dashboards while maintaining data integrity
• Provide technical specifications and help maintain overall documentation for the business
• Adhere to and promote best practices, and design the guidelines for security procedures

Required skills and qualifications
• One to three years of experience with Power BI development, SQL
• Experience with Power BI configurations, process design, Agile methodology
• Experience providing insights and recommendations to IT and Business partners on Power BI features, creating executive level dashboards, assessing existing dashboards and recommending consolidation strategy
• Experience with Snowflake / Power BI mandatory
• Strong business analytics acumen, presentation, and communication skills
