Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Tax Support Specialist – Tax Tech Ops to join our centralized Tax Support Teams. 
 
As a Tax Support Specialist, you will provide national support to the Tax Department firm wide, optimizing efficiency, client experience and quality control. You will interact with team members within your team as well as others outside of your team at all levels.  

Possible Responsibilities:
  • CCH Workflow Updates
  • Practice Engine Updates
  • Import Practice Engine Jobs from request form and New Client Worksheet 
  • Partner and manager transfers in Practice Engine
  • Add Outsourcing fees to Practice Engine
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Engagement letter support
  • Mergers & Acquisitions CCH Workflow and Practice Engine cleanup
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Knowledge Support/Q&A
  • User reporting support CCH Workflow & PowerBI)
  • Tax Application Help Desk Support – CCH Axcess
  • Tax Undertake ad-hoc tasks and other unique duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the team and supported leaders.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in administration
  • Highly proficient in using MS Excel (a must)
  • Experience with the PRACTICE ENGINE is an advantage
  • Data-driven and attentive to detail
  • Available to work overtime, as needed 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize assigned work using exemplary time-management and task-prioritization skills 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task and turnaround assigned work accurately and in a timely manner  
  • Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review
