Senior Management Accountant at Elephant Teams

Position Available: Senior Management Accountant
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:00am - 1:00pm, IST Colombo time

Are you an experienced management accountant, seeking an exciting opportunity to progress your career in a large organisation whilst advancing your Australian experience? We are hiring this role to join our growing family at Elephant Teams.

Your main responsibilities & experience:

• Prepare & Analyse Management Accounting Reports: Having over 5 years experience in report preparation to assist with the Finance team meetings and looking to take the lead in the finance process. You have experience with all aspects of complex financial issues and business performance reporting, including; adhoc reporting, presentations, forward planning and budgeting.
• Working with large company ERP systems: You’ve worked with a large volume of AP transactions, including using ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, and can demonstrate your ability to navigate these platforms with ease. You have worked with expense management systems such as Concur, and understand how they integrate with large organisations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring organisation complies with AUS Accounting standards and continuously monitors to ensure the accuracy & integrity of the financial reporting & compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes advancing and managing internal controls and governance. 
• End of Month Tasks: You have experience dealing with multiple entities and organising your work around a high volume reporting and a rigorous month end close process. You are constantly looking for ways to work faster and more efficiently as the business and volume of transactions grow.

What your profile will look like:

• Must have - strong communication skills: Fluent written & oral English skills is a must.
• Must have - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Highly desirable - Professional accounting qualification ( CIMA/ ACCA)
• Must have - minimum 5+ years experience: Demonstrable experience as a Management Accountant in a service oriented industry is a must.
• Highly desirable - Large ERP experience: Netsuite, SAP, Concur and other large company ERP experience is highly desirable.
