Your role in the team

As a Paid Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing programmatic display advertising campaigns and optimising paid search campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search advertising platforms to achieve our marketing objectives. You will leverage your expertise in programmatic buying platforms, data analysis, and campaign optimization to drive targeted, efficient, and measurable results. 

What you’ll do

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive programmatic display advertising strategies aligned with marketing objectives and audience targeting.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define campaign goals, target audiences, and KPIs

  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid search strategies aligned with business objectives, including campaign structure, keyword targeting, ad copy, and bid management.

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for expansion.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously refine and improve strategies.

Campaign Management:

  • Set up, launch, and manage programmatic display campaigns across demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as Google Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk, etc.

  • Create, launch, and manage paid search campaigns across various platforms, ensuring they are properly structured and optimized for maximum performance.

  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and targeting tactics to achieve campaign objectives while maintaining efficiency.

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, conversions, viewability, and ROI, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS)

  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data, adjusting targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies as needed.

Audience Targeting:

  • Utilize first party and third-party data sources to develop audience targeting strategies.

  • Implement audience segmentation and targeting tactics to reach specific audience segments with relevant messaging.

  • Test and refine audience targeting strategies to improve campaign performance and efficiency.

Keyword management

  • Perform regular keyword research and analysis to identify new keyword opportunities and refine keyword lists.

  • Manage keyword bids and budgets to ensure optimal performance and budget utilization.

  • Monitor keyword performance and adjust keyword targeting based on performance data and campaign goals.

Ad copywriting and Creative Management:

  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives tailored to different audience segments and campaign objectives.

  • Write compelling ad copy tailored to specific audience segments and campaign objectives.

  • Manage ad creative assets and ensure compliance with platform guidelines and best practices.

  • Implement creative testing strategies to optimize ad performance and drive engagement.

Customer Data Platform Management and Activation:

  • Oversee the management and utilization of the customer data platform (CDP) to gather, analyse, and activate customer data for targeting and personalization.

  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer data within the CDP.

  • Utilize customer data insights to inform audience segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies for programmatic display campaigns.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, DSP reporting, Google Ads, Bing Ads) to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights. Prepare regular performance reports detailing key metrics, trends, and recommendations for optimization.

  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll need for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on performance marketing via programmatic display advertising, paid social marketing and paid search marketing.  

  • Proven track record of managing successful programmatic display campaigns and paid search campaigns with demonstrated results in improving ROI and meeting/exceeding KPIs. 

  • Deep understanding of paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads, as well as other PPC advertising platforms.  

  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, ad exchanges, DMPs, and ad verification technologies. 

  • Experience with demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as Google Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk, DV360, etc. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. 

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Google Analytics and DSP reporting platforms. 

  • Experience managing customer data platforms (CDPs) and utilizing customer data for targeting and personalization. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. 

  • Google Ads or other relevant certifications are preferred. 

  • Experience in finance vertical or regional experience is advantageous but not essential.
