We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong Linux expertise to help us design, develop, and implement a cutting-edge cybersecurity solution for Linux environments using .NET 8. You will have a solid background in .NET development and a deep understanding of the Linux ecosystem, allowing for seamless end-to-end integration.
We are looking into all cities in Romania, therefore if you are in Bucharest, you can work from home and come to the office when and if it is necessary or if you’d like to come. If you are based in any other city in Romania, you can work remote, from home - we have the online resources to guide you through the pre-boarding & onboarding processes and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust cybersecurity solutions using .NET 8 to secure Linux environments.
- Linux Integration: Work extensively with Linux systems to ensure smooth implementation, including integration with system-level services, APIs, and security tools.
- Cross-Platform Development: Utilize .NET’s cross-platform capabilities to build and optimize software that runs efficiently on Linux-based environments.
- Security Solutions: Collaborate with the security team to architect solutions addressing vulnerabilities, implementing encryption, authentication, and other security best practices.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of software applications to ensure they meet the highest security and performance standards.
- Automation: Automate deployment and operational tasks using Linux scripting tools (e.g., Bash) for seamless operations and system maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the cybersecurity and DevOps teams to align development with security and infrastructure requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and solutions for future reference and scaling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer with hands-on knowledge of .NET Core or .NET 8.
- Strong expertise working with Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) in a development or system-level capacity.
- Cybersecurity Experience: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption, secure coding practices, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux security frameworks and tools (e.g., SELinux, AppArmor, iptables).
- Experience with cross-platform development using .NET to deploy applications on Linux.
- Proficiency in Linux shell scripting (e.g. Bash).
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with cybersecurity tools like Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) or Vulnerability Scanners.
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools for automated deployment and testing.
- Familiarity with Linux kernel modules, system calls, and low-level Linux internals for enhanced security solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
