Compensation Range: $15-17 per hour

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

The role of the Maintenance / Housekeeper is to implement procedures for cleaning, sanitation, materials safety, and infection control so as to ensure the welfare of the clients and staff and to meet the standards for healthcare institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing rooms and living quarters for the clients.
  • Conducts and maintains the laundry services for the bedding materials and bathing towels.
  • Inspect and report all safety hazards and infection control issues to the supervisor.
  • Sanitizing of the bathrooms and community areas.
  • Change client linens as required.
  • Responsible for the necessary duties, in the Magnolia House and Multi purpose building, to ensure cleanliness and sanitization.
  • Check exit doors regularly to ensure access is free and blockage is removed.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.

This is a part-time position that will work:

  • 4 hour 4 days/week or 8 hour 2 days/week

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent diploma.
  • 1-2 years similar experience in a residential facility.
  • Specific knowledge of HVAC systems, utilizes management and oversight and grounds keeping.
