As a Director of FinTech Sales you will be at the forefront of driving an exciting revenue opportunity for Blackbaud. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a strategic sales plan that will achieve the revenue targets for our FinTech Direct Sales Team. This requires a deep level of expertise in financial software sales leadership and the ability to understand trends and opportunities. Leading and managing Blackbaud’s FinTech Direct Sales Team will also be a key responsibility. This includes hiring, developing, and coaching Account Executives to ensure they have skills to be successful. You will be responsible creating a highly engaged and motivated sales team that encourages growth.
This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales and will also be a member of the Leadership Team, helping to run the business overall. A key requirement of the successful leader will be to scale the current sales organization through an effective go-to-market structure, hiring and productivity.
What You’ll Do:
Developing and implementing a FinTech strategic sales plan to achieve company targets and objectives
Hiring, leading and managing a high-performing team of 5 FinTech Account Executives with plans to grow headcount in future years.
Building and nurturing key relationships with strategic customers and market influencers
Collaboration across departments inclusive of Marketing and Product Development to ensure alignment on strategy
Monitoring market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and to adapt current strategies accordingly
Own sales forecasting / responsible for forecast accuracy
Internalizing and delivering the FinTech value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of different audiences, including C-Level executives
Motivating individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, development of creative sales incentives, and broadcast of results
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of financial software sales experience with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing successful sales teams
Proven record of sales success in a financial software application environment. Ability and track record of driving business in a strategic manner
Experience navigating complex sales cycles with commercial and enterprise customers
Experience working with ROI, cost modeling and other quantitative techniques to educate and persuade buyers
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills
Experience with nonprofits and foundations is highly preferred

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $238,100.00 to $338,100.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
