The Fleet Management team plays the central role in orchestrating the Autonomous Vehicles Fleet for our RideHail and Delivery operations and provides critical tools to our Commercial Operations to maximize the utilization of our fleet while minimizing operational costs. This covers the full vehicle life cycle including new vehicle introduction, launch & egress, real-time monitoring & response to on-road events, and efficient fleet orchestration and dispatching.

What you’ll do:
  • Growing and developing a team of leaders and engineers
  • Foster a healthy and collaborative culture and serve as an embodiment of our values
  • Collaborate with engineering, product and business partners to develop and execute to engineering roadmap aligned with product scale and expansion goals
  • Build a high performing team of engineers with focus on high availability and scalability
  • Work with Engineering Directors and Technical Project Managers to allocate teams to workstreams and projects aligned with Company goals and priorities
What you must have:
  • 10+ years of professional experience building and shipping mission critical, high availability and complex software products
  • Experience building and leading engineering teams including staff technical engineers/Tech Leads
  • Experience with microservice-based architectures and common cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Self-motivation and passion to lead your teams, encourage best practices, and constantly set the standard
  • BS, MS or PhD in CS, EE, or equivalent real-world experience

Bonus points!

  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle or rideshare industry

 

The salary range for this position is $171,400 - $252,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
