Job Title: Information Security Manager

Reporting to: Lead consultant

Location: Remote with travel as required

Role Requirements:

  • Must hold or be eligible to hold government security vetting at SC level
  • Must be currently resident in the UK

Reward Package:

  • Salary: £65,000 - £80,000
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays + Birthday off in addition

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our world class Consultancy arm, as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, supporting the next phase of Cyberfort’s growth. You’ll be joining a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning with expert peers in Secure Architecture and Risk planning. We work across a number of sectors with a diverse client base. As a team we’re always looking to raise the bar, learn new things and incorporate new technologies and you will too! You’ll share your knowledge with the team and the wider Cyberfort community, contributing to Group blogs and undertaking research related to technology enhancements.  

In this role you’ll work as a security expert, you’ll cover all security aspects of Risk & Governance. You will offer strong thought leadership in all areas of Security Risk & Governance. This will include areas such as:-

  • Measuring the Security Risk position accurately by establishing and owning the Security framework.
  • MI collation and dashboarding delivery.
  • Annual assurance planning and delivery.
  • Risk Committee preparation, report writing, risk register ownership.
  • Ownership and update of security policy, standards and procedures.
  • PCI DSS oversight ensuring continual compliance.
  • Ensure strong oversight of and accurate reporting against the Security Strategy deliverables ensuring close alignment against Strategic business goals.
  • Stay close to emerging and current legislation that may affect security.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology, technical vulnerabilities, threats and cloud environments.
  • Keep abreast of changing/new security frameworks and new approaches to Risk & Governance.
