Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch Anaheim, California Time

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls which is approximately 40 to 50 calls a day. 
  • Addressing patient questions or concerns.
  • Gathering personal information such as name, age, contact details, and insurance information.
  • Recording medical history, including past illnesses, surgeries, medications, allergies, and family health history.
  • Documenting current symptoms and health concerns.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Entering collected information into the healthcare facility’s e-clinical work (ECW) system.
  • Coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure the patient's information is accurately conveyed
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Scheduling procedures and surgery
  • Doing general medical office work and getting to know the tasks of a medical office




Requirements


  • Minimal to Zero accent.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience working with US clients.
  • Experience in EHR/EMR tools.
  • Background in E-clinical Works (ECW) is highly preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare account or medical field.
  • Capable of handling heavy phone calls.
  • Must be a leader, dedicated, and responsible
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
