Job description

Our client - an Australian Law Firm is seeking a self-motivated, client-focused Legal Secretary to join our Workers Compensation team in Liverpool. Key responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact for many of our clients you will be expected to build strong relationships and support our clients with your excellent customer service standards.
  • Accurate and timely management of file records and notes including file management, producing accurate file notes, diarising key dates, diarising appointments for our lawyers, filing court documents, and monitoring for further action.
  • Document preparation including preparation of precedent court documents, precedent letters, cost agreements etc.

Your strong interpersonal and time management skills, combined with your experience in administration and passion to deliver outstanding client outcomes will ensure your success in this role.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust as you'll be engaging with a diverse range of people from varied backgrounds and abilities.
  • Experience with diary management
  • Motivation to achieve both team and individual targets.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining quality.
  • Experience in a Legal Assistant or Administration role will be advantageous
  • Workers compensation experience will be highly regarded
