Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Recruiter (on a 3-month contract to hire) to support our growing team by identifying top-tier talent in the creative, marketing, and operational spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively sourcing and screening candidates while building a pipeline of strong prospects. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive Keen's recruitment efforts through advanced sourcing strategies and outbound outreach, focusing primarily on the Cape Town market.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively source and identify candidates for roles across creative, marketing, and operations functions.
  • Utilize advanced LinkedIn Recruiter features such as Boolean searches, filters, and candidate engagement tools to find qualified talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through consistent outbound outreach and engagement.
  • Identify and target key brands, agencies, and companies within the creative and marketing industries for talent sourcing.
  • Screen potential candidates to assess fit and pass qualified leads to hiring managers.
  • Leverage a variety of sourcing tools and methods, including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media platforms, and specialized industry databases.
  • Stay updated on the Cape Town market and talent trends within creative, digital marketing, and e-commerce spaces.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide market insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sourcing or recruitment experience, with a focus on the digital agency, creative, marketing, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Expertise in using LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean logic, filtering, and outreach campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of the Cape Town market and experience sourcing talent from top brands and agencies.
  • Familiarity with other candidate sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., job boards, talent databases, social media sourcing).
  • Strong outbound outreach skills, with the ability to engage and convert passive candidates.
  • Strong front-facing communication skills, ability to drive excitement over Keen roles, and an engaging and positive personality.
  • Native English language skills.
  • Experience in candidate screening and understanding role-specific qualifications.
